One of my favorite characters is Dory from Finding Nemo. I love the way nothing seems to ruffle her feathers. (Not that she has any to ruffle. 🙂 ) And whenever she is at a loss of what to do next she hums that little phrase to herself: just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. It seems that lately I’ve really needed to adopt this perspective. I tend to be like Marlin. I dislike that feeling that I need to get somewhere important and I have no idea how to go about getting there. Unlike Marlin, I have more than luck to help me get where I need to go; I have an all wise, all-knowing, all-loving Father in heaven. Like Dory, I need to focus on what I can do – just keep serving, serving, serving – and trust God to be working on all the rest.
Great analogy Andy…food for thought. Praying you are doing well. Our pastor is doing much better now so I will be discussing your coming here on Thursday evening when I see him. God bless!
Tricia 🙂
