Hand in Hand

I love it when you can see God at work coordinating believers when He is at work in someone’s heart. I get to substitute teach at my local school. I also get to hang out and be friends with a number of high school students who attend our church’s youth group PLUG. Recently, I had a student ask to chat with me while I subbed in the library. The student had been discussing a desire for a real friend with one of our PLUG kids who told the student that the answer was to ask God to be the real friend. Then, since the searching student knew I knew about God, I got the privilege of answering questions about God. How cool is that?! I am so physched to work alongside of teens who love God and aren’t afraid to share that faith.

  1. That is so neat – who would’ve thought that a subbing job in a public school would lead to this kind of ministry? 🙂 God works in amazing, unexpected ways! 🙂
